How we label and list AI games

We collect AI-related games, platforms, experiments and open-source projects. A listing helps you find the creator's page; it does not mean we have played or independently verified the project.

Different connections to AI

AI-powered gameplay uses models during play. Made with AI describes development assistance. Traditional AI describes scripted or rule-based behaviour. AI-themed games may tell stories about AI without using generative models. When the connection is unclear, we say so.

Sources and play notes

Descriptions can be prepared from provider information and existing research, including AI-assisted drafting. Current prices, availability and performance are not guaranteed. Only entries with an explicit dated play note describe our own limited interaction; those notes are not comprehensive reviews.

Games and experiments

A framework or technical demo is labelled separately from a game. Open-source code does not imply free hosting or inference. Third-party games open on their own sites and have their own accounts, terms and charges.

Playing here, embedding and open-source copies

“Play here” opens an AIGameLib play page. Some games run on this server; others use an embedded publisher page and can stop working if that publisher changes access. “Official site” takes you to a separate service with its own terms.

For new self-hosted community games, we retain the original license and link the exact source version. A public GitHub repository or a working iframe alone does not grant redistribution rights. A shop widget is not a playable game embed. Projects without a clear embedding or redistribution basis stay as links.

What a browser check means

A dated check describes only the actions recorded: for example, loading a game, starting it and testing an input. It does not certify every level, device or save function. Older catalogue entries are not automatically re-tested when the directory design changes. A new listing date is not the game’s release date.

Corrections and submissions

Send a link or correction. Receipt does not guarantee publication or a response deadline. Report outdated or misattributed information through our contact page.

Commercial disclosure

The initial directory links are ordinary editorial links. Any future paid placement or affiliate relationship will be labelled. Listings have no fabricated review scores.
